That sounds like under coached to me, if we take your observation as the truth. If all the players were hard coached to certain decisions they wouldn’t even need to look where to pass.
It doesn’t work that way. The point of the hesitation and looking something else is that they’re trying to follow an instruction from training and not playing naturally like a Wenger team would.
