Love Zinchenko, but something about these mid blocks we keep coming up against seems to be his kryptonite without Partey. Add in his tendency to needlessly cough up the ball a handful of times a game, which is fine when we’re dominating bit when we’re not he suffers.
Gimme Kiwi hitting those big 60 yard switches to Saka to unsettle the opposition block. I think White is technical enough to play inverted and go on the outside.
None of this is to say we don’t or will never need Zinchenko again. Just sometimes, it’s not his night
I think zinny is better when paired with rice or partey as dm to cover him and not with dm like jorgi or he will get exposed on defense
