William Saliba has come from nowhere to lead Arsenal from the back in the past two seasons. Is he now the best central defender in the world?

I mean he’s our best player ahead of Saka, Ode and Jesus

Yes. There’s not many other CBs I would pick over Saliba.

If you think he’s the best in the world then there shouldn’t be any you would pick over him lol

Not necessarily true. There could be better but wouldn’t necessarily pick over Saliba due to age, or attitude problems, etc.

Well, there are better of course. But personally I wouldn’t trade Saliba for anyone. He’s simply fantastic.

2nd best after Dias. It’s just a matter of time before he’s the best though.

Best is always hard to say, but he is up there.

Big gabi is also at a great level.

There was a point in our last game where he just absolutely bossed an attacker off the ball and it looked like a child tussling with a grown man

Maybe, but his ceiling is limitless considering his age… he’s only going to get better with experience.

He’s very good, but we need to give him a few heads before we can make this sort of claim

Best young centre back, yeah, I’d say so

He’s low key the reason why they won treble last season. They won almost every match immediately after he returned.

He is immense when fit. A true rolls royce, completely sweeps up everything.

Saliba can get there. He will be the new VVD

Fr watching any city game, there’s not a single shaky moment. He does everything a center back needs to do to absolute perfection. Saliba is prolly a half step below that level

No, he’s not the best CB in the world. All other teams should be warned, he’s absolutely terrible and no one should ever waste any money on buying him. Especially RM.

We should take one for the team and keep him at Arsenal forever.

Spurs fans are saying that Diaz and Van Der Ven (is that his name) are better than him. As you know, Spurs fans are all football masterminds so I’d look there before coming here.

Araujo is NOT better than Saliba, I watch both and can tell you Saliba doesn’t struggle or lose 1v1s, the trickier players in La Liga will dice Araujo from time to time

Araujo and Romero are two of the most overrated CBs i’ve ever seen lol. They are class, but also rely on fouling the shit out of their opponents.
