I always insisted that Messi deserved 2010 Ballon D’or but at this point it’s a joke. Haaland deserved this one. Better numbers than Messi during the 2022/2023 season but they give it to Messi for a 7 games display when they got 5 penalties in 7 games
The argument would be that Haaland didnt create anything, he just happens to be the striker in one of the best teams off all time. Messi was a much more important part of argentinas team than Haaland was. That being said, i think Haaland deserved it just for all the recorda he broke
