I always insisted that Messi deserved 2010 Ballon D’or but at this point it’s a joke. Haaland deserved this one. Better numbers than Messi during the 2022/2023 season but they give it to Messi for a 7 games display when they got 5 penalties in 7 games

    HAALAND: In 2022-23: 56 goals, nine assists. Won Champions League, Premier League & FA Cup.

    MESSI: In 2022-23: 42 goals, 26 assists. Won World Cup, Ligue 1 & Trophee des Champions.

    And you all think, Messi did not deserve this 2023? World Cup? Haaland goal and assists combined total 64 points with Messi combined total of 68 points. WC alone can win messi the ballon d’or.
