Been listening to the Instant Reaction and pod yesterday from Arsenal Vision. I usually like their takes but their one on ESR was weird for me - Elliot and Clive are saying he didn’t take his starting opportunity with both hands on Saturday…
He’s a player who hasn’t started for us in the PL for a year and a half… I thought he did quite well in his midfield role on Saturday all things considered
Weird agenda yeah. Was a very good outing all things considered. Excellent in the second half. Showed a decent defensive side and some attacking ability we had not seen before (free kicks)
He didn’t do anything to show he deserves to start over the other options though, which I assume is their point. It’s still a free for all between him Vieira and Havertz
He was better than anything Havertz has done in that position
