What sense does it make for VAR to make Paul Tierney go to the monitor over a play he had a clear view of? It wasn’t a hidden handball or a foul behind the play. He saw it, didn’t make the call, but is forced to watch it in slow motion until he awards a pk. Done with the premier league until they get rid of VAR for everything but offsides.

    I was the same and could understand teething issues. But we are into it’s 5th season and nothing has changed because the people in control don’t want it to.

    It would be better in the hands of a private company who can be held accountable
