He saw it, didn’t make the call, but is forced to watch it in slow motion until he awards a pk. Done with the premier league until they get rid of VAR for everything but offsides.
The Officiating and TMO at the RWC has been heavily criticised and more generally over the last few years. I’m not sure it’s the best example to use right now, albeit there are elements which could and should be incorporated in the short term.
