Was it ever explained why Gabriel was dropped this week? Did we want out best ball playing CB’s on the field?
Only early in the season was it dropping.
This was rotation.
But if you’re playing Kai Havertz, you could also use those Kiwior special long balls than ground defence. Still not reason enough. It was just rotation.
If you’re playing Kai Havertz, you need the LCB to have midfielder like quality on the ball to make it work.
I would guess just to give Kiwior some real minutes
