I don’t think anyone would be able to say for sure until it’s out, but my guess is probably not, hopefully some time after release they will open it up a bit. I am guessing that they’re being very cautious about avoiding Nintendo lawsuits, and not without good reason.
I’m not an expert on FPGAs though, so it’s entirely possible that the FPGA in the 3D is just completely incompatible with openfpga cores.
So it doesn’t support openFPGA, but is there any hope of a jailbreak to enable core support?
