I understood as meaning if you’re going from one suburb city to another suburb city, you should not drive through downtown. Probably doesn’t apply to EU as they probably don’t have our sprawl but that’s what I understood.

the part I think you are missing is the human can only eat so much because it takes not as long to go by car or train as opposed to walking
