No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If someone's injected with cancer cells, they develop cancer. Could at least part of the increase in cancer be to do with people getting other people's cancer cells inside their bodies?

The likely cause if increased cancer rate is the increased consumption of ultra processed foods.

I have a few, and created one of my own. I have a steamer trunk that’s been in the family for 5 or more generations, the family Bible from who knows how far back, and proposed to my wife with the ring my papa used to propose to my mom. I also had a sword forged for my wedding, engraved with our family name. While I don’t intend to have children I plan on passing these things down to my nephews when the time comes

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•People with touchscreen laptops, how often do you use the touchscreen features?
4·3 months agoI miss having it, I still occasionally forget I don’t have it. I would use it to select tabs, open programs, scroll pages, zoom in and out. I loved it, I’m legit thinking of replacing my current laptop screen with one that is a touch screen.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•If the United States saw what the United States is doing in the United States, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States
9·3 months agoOh I’m aware, in my head it’s like a whitest kids you know sketch. The US has run out of other countries to over throw for oil but still itching for war. Declares war on it self under the guise of freeing the people from tyranny when just trying to secure the oil it already has. “It’s a perfect plan, we’ll never see it coming”

I have been saying it for years, English is a very informal and open language, have fun with it. Sky water is not technically a wrong way to refer to rain, liquid laundry soup is absolutely a sauce for your laundry, dish bricks, day star, the list goes on
