People here don’t watch Newcastle if they aren’t playing a ‘big 6’ team, so they don’t realise Gordon has been one of the best players in the league. They do however know that Palmer has scored 4 penalties (no other goals) for a big 6 team, so he not only gets the nod, but apparently it’s no contest.

1·1 year agoIf Man City signed Dunk and banished him to the reserves for a season, he’d be starting for England. The sad fact is that being associated with a “big 6” team is just far more valuable to Southgate.
