I liked using open box, looks pretty decent and user friends from the get go and uses fewer resources then most desktop environments. If you do use open box I would use the tint2 task bar with it. If hadn’t explored window managers in some time but that’s what I would suggest for getting a tip top performance out of any device. Someone would need to remove the Bluetooth connection from your partners phone.

1. they can simply turn off Bluetooth when you are using it the device.

Sometimes i’l search for a specific video, and i’l have to go to a peertube server to then find it on the fediverse. (not on the local video feed.)

I feel like communities that work directly on local servers would work better. as for example: i’l search for something like Rayman 2 (video game) The sepia Search results will only seem to show results for the Gameboy game. However if I search directly on some Peertube instance, it will show the game boy color and the console release gameplay.

I usually join a Peertube server as a viewer. Usually if I want to subscribe to channels or build playlists (I don’t keep accounts long but I don’t use much bandwidth directly through video uploads.

I’m guessing that’s why I hadn’t had this same experience of most servers not approving my account set up. Although, if any one is wanting to upload short clips on Peertube, do specific that when signing up that you’l try to keep your video length short, might improve your chances of getting approved and keep the server healthy and running (due to storage, streaming and hosting costs.

I think keeping videos between 1 to 5 minutes on average is fair. So start with that as a baseline. You might get approved more likely as an uploader.

There is no specified roll back to version option, you would normally have to clear the downloaded data. On switch I know you could actually do this with Splatoon games, with a cartridge. With key carts it’s not happening.

from what I understand, there are three legally supported ways to play Switch games on the Switch 2 I might be wrong.

There are game cards, then there are game key carts, then direct download from eShop. The key carts, are probably going to always require a download of the whole game. Maybe Nintendo might prove some of us wrong on this.

To be fair I was talking about degrading from bad updates not just any update. Also, what I think is the most notable detail is that these physical key carts are treated as if you bought a game on the eshop, and downloads the game on your Switch. Not even onto the cart itself.

Do these key carts even have any internal storage on it at all? Probably does, for confirmation purposes.

It really is just e-waste. Because look at what Nintendo has degraded physical media into. Might as well just buy it on the eshop just so you can play the game without worrying abut having the cart in the console. Since the key cart is literally not much different from the digital.

If they don’t restrict the key cart to one switch via a license, you might be right about selling digital games. Tbh I would prefer to sell a physical game, on the cart knowing that the game would always be available.

I think that the definition could exclude authoritarianism. However, the way it ended up implemented in popular examples people may point to, is what people see communism as being like. Possibly that’s what he might had felt about it as well base don some of his responses .

I don’t think correcting this perception of communism would require a specific type or form of communism, but rather just simply do vanilla communism upfront. What I mean by that is, without centralized authoritarianism. Communism by definition, is suppose to be stateless, and classless and a lack of currency. (lack of currency can be hard to achieve for imported goods, so I wouldn’t be as upset over that one not being perfect day one.) however, classless and stateless as a foundation shouldn’t be difficult. Achieving it in peace with everyone around might be another story, but actually applying it seems simple.

If some countries had actually applied it, then the issue was, there wasn’t a large number of them applying it this way and because of that, communism is known for being authoritarian to many, when it is not suppose to be like that.

From some of what I could tell the mod, goat likely thinks of communism as dictatorship due to various countries in history. I think an ideology should be based plainly on the ideology itself and people should’t judge an idealogy just based off of how it was abused.

If an ideology itself at its core is encouraging dictatorship then people won’t want to associate or talk in good faith. Even if it isn’t, if an ideology has a bad reputation, no one will want to risk it even if someone tells them that a variation is better.

I do believe the mod ‘goat’ might had had a negative bias against communism. Many do, and it’s just due to the association. Perhaps communists, and idk if you agree with this or not, but perhaps communist should start fresh, and create a newer, modern, and improved ideology for todays times. I believe for that as long that communist keep using the communist name with a bad rep, the chances of it going anywhere are minimal.
