I’ve just checked here in France. One BicMac contains 530 kcal while a caesar salad contains 402 kcal. A Royal Cheese also contains 525 kcal. Maybe it’s different in your country but here there is a pattern where salad have less calories than burgers.

Linux@programming.dev•GNOME 51 Could End Up Replacing System Tools With "Resources" AppFrançais
3·22 days agoWhat is the logic behind the renaming? Is “Resources” more intuitive than “Gnome System Monitor”?

241·25 days agoI have a Garmin watch and I can’t see any benefit for my usage from an Apple watch. Quick reminder that Garmin watches have 10/15 days battery life and decent privacy 😀.

Europe@feddit.org•French policewoman severely injured after being ambushed by 15 menFrançais
7·1 month agoAnd do not edit the title as much OP please. That’s clickbait. The real title is “Guet-apens à Rillieux : une policière municipale sérieusement blessée, victime d’une fracture du crâne”. Yours imply the policewoman was ambushed while 3 police cars were. She wasn’t by herself.

Technology@lemmy.world•Manjaro Linux Team Goes on Strike, Threatens to Fork the ProjectEnglish
2·3 months agoI used to hop distributions in my youth, between 2000 and 2019. I have settled on Manjaro and never looked back.
As of today, my desktop works perfectly and I have not seen any stability issues.I am considering testing openSUSE Slowroll in the coming months but not on my main computer. What’s holding me back is that I can’t see any momentum behind Slowroll. I have no clue if the solution will be supported for a long period. I’d like to have more guarantees than what is on openSUSE website.

2·3 months agoI’m too old for that. I’m running a fairly recent laptop - 4 years old. It’s not a beast but largely enough for my usage. Not enough for Gentoo though!

KDE Plasma with default settings as well.
