Instead, after some quick research it turns out there is a controversial and debated analog to autism in dogs termed CDB (canine dysfunctional behavior) that can include symptoms such as repetitive/compulsive behaviors, social challenges, heightened sensory sensitivities, and difficulty with changes in routine.

Bull terriers apparently are the breed which exhibit the most CDB-like symptoms. However, the breeds that are recommended to match with autistic humans are ones that are more predictable, gentle, calm, and friendly (e.g. labs, goldens, etc).
