Some short-sighted companies are evaluating employees on AI use, with more being better. This script sends tons of requests to one of the main LLMs, allowing you to appear to use AI a ton. It has the side benefit of costing your employer a ton of money.

It’s a good interview. His repeated use of the term ‘first-run’ got me thinking about how home video has killed the market for theaters running older films. You get ‘special events’ showing and older film for it’s anniversary, etc, but not just movies rotating in and out. That was normal when he was young and it still impacts how he talks.

Their terms were written to allow them to refund less than the purchase price by refunding the current price instead of the purchase price. You buy SSD for $200, a year later the model is reduced to $150, they refund you $150. They haven’t changed those terms, so they are violating their own contract by not refunding at the current price.

It’s a big business. Over $200 million a year in the US.

These are often two components stacked. There’s a cabinet box and a shelf unit. They may not have attached them if it’s a temporary backdrop just for this video. It’s also possible that the shelf is bolted to the wall, allowing the cabinet to slide underneath it.

I am not connected with that stadium, but I am connected to some of the others involved in the tournament. We don’t know if we are going to make any money. FIFA claims the games are all going to have max attendance, which means we need to be stocked/prepped/staffed for that, but it’s likely a lie. They also have made a bunch of weird demands that increase costs.

FIFA is structuring everything so that they make a ton of money no matter what. That’s all they care about.

That said, this sounds like it has more to do with the security protocols than it does pay. There’s nothing the employer can do about it and I don’t think FIFA cares.

Underneath the silliness, SR4 had a good story and great performances. I remember tearing up a bit during the car segment of the final mission.

It is one of the few open-world sidequestapaloozas I have ever beaten because the story and insanity kept me coming back.

Their printers are often clogged and mistuned, leading to streaky prints or misaligned colors. Sometimes you get lucky and find a store that has a decent printer.

You should either include something to wear it to or indicate that future gifts may go that direction. Dressing up to go to a show, symphony, etc can be a lot of fun and that resolves the “but I have nowhere to wear it” objection she would likely have.

Veritasium is awful. So much misinformation, holier-than-though attitude, and disguised advertising. They are just pre-AI slop: Stuff that sounds correct presented in a convincing way.
