And wow. It was wild knowing first-hand how the rest of the Android-using world have been done & over with all the “new” iFeatures I was excited about through the years.

Nearby share. We also had tap to share like a decade ago, before airdrop was even an idea
There is always an android work around for ios exclusive stuff, but if it’s not built into ios, you’re fucked. The phone is for you, your family can figure it out, it’s not that hard. God forbid they show some flexibility to anything outside the ios bubble. There’s so much more to do in android, especially OneUI, and if you like having some choice in what your phone does, looks like, and making it completely your own, switch. I’ve always thought: If you want new, experimental, and interesting features, pick android. If you want 5 year old features optimized far beyond anything reasonable, pick ios. But you seem to be more the former than the latter.
Something about stock android doesn’t do it for me. OneUI is just so much better
Samsung’s always had the best balance between hardware and software. Apple’s way too restrictive, let alone all the reparability and legal issues they’ve had. Stock android has always felt too basic software wise, and I’d say the same about oneplus hardware wise. Samsung packs so many useful software features into a frame that is equally high quality
