1 year agoI’ve been doing this for several years. You only need to replenish what you use. Your home will have at least a couple outlets under constant or at least very common use, like for a refrigerator.

I dropped $20 for a forgotten amount of kWh, but would have been about $5 if I drove to the other side of the parking lot, if I had bothered to check prices first.
I’ve been taken to the cleaners at gas stations (never more than 2x the average cost in the greater area), but this is many levels beyond that. Absolutely predatory or a happy, but lucrative error (for the station owner).
Oh they definitely exist (those that aren’t Tesla itself). Hell, I got an ad for a Tesla specific car wrap shop today. We’ll continue to see them spread.
