1 year agoCam and crank sensors aren’t a bad idea, probably need to be replaced anyways. I’d replace your synchronizer with your cam sensor if it’s never been done before. Importance of cam sensor & synchronizer.

Def don’t go cheap on a thermostat.
But… this sounds like you have an overfilled system…? On any vehicle, if you fill the radiator and the overflow, it WILL overflow when the vehicle heats up.
What I might recommend just in case you’ve got air trapped is burping the system. Run it at with heat on with the radiator cap replaced by a funnel stuck into it.
Like it turns over and goes “err err err err”? Or it just clicks once?
