It’s surreal reading comments pining for win7/8. i am getting old.

that’s good to know! a friend gave it to me somewhat randomly as they already have a stable of printers and were clearing space.
my only issue with it so far (other than lacking information) is that the prusa software itself doesn’t seem to support this model any longer. i did see some bits about “upgrade” kits for it to make it a MK2 on the prusa site but i think i’ll learn the ropes with it as is before i jump into anything like that.
that’s exactly it. there’s a screw hole that hangs out of the back of it where the 5015 housing is attached.
now to buy some more pla! thanks again.
i did look through those parts before posting here and couldn’t find one that matched. i also don’t know what it’s called so i’m not completely sure what i’m looking for.
this is great. i didn’t realize there was a forum, so i’ll probably browse that a bit. i didn’t see the part listed in those printable parts but i also don’t know what it’s actually called.
EDIT: on a second look, that might actually be the 5015 housing but it also looks like perhaps the part it screws onto is broken as well (hence the zip ties). i suppose i’ll be repairing more than i thought.
thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
js considered harmful.
glad i got ddp on steam! for all the great shmups on the switch, i was worried this kind of thing might happen.
Glad I didn’t notice. Welcome back, all.
Bazzite, perhaps? I don’t have the dongle but all of my controllers have worked with it out of the box and I have a couple weird ones. It’s gaming focused so you might have some luck with it.
Also as others have said: xone.
Battlefield 2042 (xbox series s), Danmaku Unlimited 3 (steam), Ketsui Deathtiny (ps4), and eFootball (android/xbox and f2p, though I’m not sure that one is in the right place here).
how does this differ from profiles in grapheneos? i’ve not used stock android so i don’t know if it also has profiles but i used to use them for work related things.
sure, i expected this reply. again, i don’t necessarily agree with the statement. herd mentality or not it’s merely what i’ve observed.
i have yet to use one of these digital wallets but i would imagine a large part of it is “because everyone around me is doing it.” not necessarily herd mentality but the social shift of it making checkout processes faster so if you’re using cash or a card, you’re inconveniencing the people in line behind you (however rational that may be is another topic).
i live in a semi-rural area and have seen very few instances of someone paying with their phone. it’s so rare here, i’m not even sure how the process works. tap to pay with a card has only recently been more normalized here. however, when i travel for work to big cities, it seems like the only times cards are used is when there is a large group meal at a fancier restaurant.
i also carry a small amount of cash in case my card fails or a card machine is down but it’s very rare to see cash used here as well, except for personal payments. even then, third party pseudo-bank apps are consuming that process (cashapp, venmo, etc.).
i’m not trying to justify any of these payment processes or mark one as better than the others. it’s just an observation.
You can export your newpipe subs and import them into freetube. Sadly there isn’t an automation for this, though
I hoped for this for a long time before I found freetube. I’m still going to check it out, though. This is great news!
why does it matter when the disc for a game is now basically just a download code? the studios have already won this battle.
radiodroid is also great. it’s an interface for radio-browser.info
have these streams been added to radio-browser.info?
Dual booting may be the way to go. Sure Steam, Proton, blah blah but there are so many other launchers and AAA games that are not going to be supported at all (or at least not without a bunch of fiddling). For my own kid, I gave up on Linux ages ago and they have a Wintendo now. I have been daily driving Linux since the mid 90s but I’m also practical when I need to be.
That machine is also isolated on its own VLAN to hopefully reduce the blast radius of whatever garbage it eventually detonates. I make regular backups of it and am ready to repave it at a moment’s notice.
