1 year agoCoolant temp sensor could be skewed. If you have the 2.0 turbo it’s on the back of the head and an absolute nightmare to get to.

Sounds like the valve spring was the cause of the misfire in the first place. There was a recall for those on some model years. Also if they rebuilt it they should honour the warranty.
