  • For example: Wine

I get what you’re saying, and it’s true, but “wine” is a horrible choice…

It can take five years for a vine to produce wine grapes. And even after they’re harvested, its a long process where lots can go wrong.

It wasn’t that people really thought no one could make better wine than France, it’s that no one else was consistently doing it yet. Everyone knew if Cali vineyards kept at it, they’d eventually level the playing field.

Most of the “outcry” about the result, was in France and made by the insanely wealthy people who owned the French vineyards

  • People keep spreading this…

Because they’re not smart enough to realize it’s pro-AI propaganda put out by AI companies…

A new report published Tuesday from enterprise AI agent firm Writer and research firm Workplace Intelligence finds a significant share of employees are actively trying to sabotage their company’s AI rollout. The report—a survey of 2,400 knowledge workers across the U.S., the U.K., and Europe, including 1,200 C-suite executives—found 29% of employees admit to sabotaging their company’s AI strategy. That number jumps to 44% among Gen Z workers

They need an excuse for why it’s not working, so they’re blaming jr workers, knowing ceos will come to the conclusion “just fire more people”.

Even the way they’re phrasing this, makes it sound like the only reason an employee doesn’t like AI, is they’re a “hater” scared of losing their job.

Do people legitimately not understand any of this? It seems incredibly obvious but this is like the 20th article I’ve and I don’t why people keep spreading this shit

  • And I see a military gleefully carrying out ALL of the orders

No, you only see them following orders, because the system is built so no one sees when someone doesn’t.

But hey, thanks to the very VERY few who did the absolute bare minimum.

Again, you’re assuming you see everything happening at all levels of our military, which is such a naive take, anyone making it (even if they themselves are high level military) would be so naive and uninformed, it’s not just dangerous to listen to them, it’s dangerous to let anyone listen to them.

Which is why I’m bothering to type these replies knowing most people still won’t understand the specifics.

It’s worth the effort even tho I know it’s not likely to work.

  • The Iranian leadership are crazy religious fanatics but they don’t strike me as stupid.

Even if they were completely devoted to their flavor of Abrhamic religion…

Ironically enough their prophecy requires Muslims and Christians to unite against the antichrist, and then Jesus (yes that Jesus) comes down and kills the antichrist and tells everyone to convert to Islam.

Then there’s a schism where Christians say Jesus saved everyone, and Muslims say that it was really God acting thru Jesus just like last time.

Like, that’s the most ridiculous part of it, that there’s still supposed to be beef after they both unite under Jesus against the antichrist.

And it’s why I fully have them cozying up to the fucking pope on my bingo card as my center square. Especially since their timeline has always been “over 2,000 years later”. They haven’t been kicking the can for centuries, this is when they always said it would happen.

If they want to bring about their end times, they’re gonna build a global multi-cultural opposition group to trump, because he clearly fits all the predictions for the anti-christ.

According to Islamic apocalyptics, having ascended to heaven and dwelled there for 2000+ years, Jesus will descend to earth shortly before Judgement Day, in the midst of wars fought against al-Masih ad-Dajjal ('The False Messiah") and his followers, to come to the aid of the Mahdi and his Muslim followers. Dressed in saffron robes with his head anointed, Jesus will descend at the point of a white minaret, in eastern Damascus, which is believed to be the Minaret of Isa in the Umayyad Mosque.[92] He will then greet the Mahdi and (being a Muslim) pray beside him. Eventually, Jesus will slay the Dajjal at Lod.[93]

Afterwards, he will “break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax”, according to a well-known Sahih al-Bukhari hadith.[94][95] “The usual interpretation” of this prophecy is that, being a Muslim, Jesus will put a stop to Christian worship of himself and in belief in his divinity, “symbolized by the cross”. He will re-establish the Kosher/Halal dietary laws abandoned by Christianity;[96] and because Jews and Christians will now all reject their former faith and accept Islam, there will be no more need for the jizya tax on unbelievers.[97]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_in_Islam#Apocalyptic_literature

But at least theirs has a goal of peace on Earth instead of hell on Earth:

After the death of the Mahdi, Jesus will assume world leadership and peace and justice will be universal.

  • Preparing for worst case scenario is literally the only reason humans managed to make it thru 17 different ice ages chief…

In times of plenty people who will take any risk do well, but winter always comes and those dumb fucks get killed off.

    It’s human variation.

The problem is we’re letting people incapable of evaluating risk drive a globally connected society.

Next time shit gets bad, there’s a real chance instead of a kingdom dissolving, virtually every living human dies, despite how personally risk averse they are.

The problem is ultra capitalists being in charge of everything, not just that they exist on a fringe

  • trump already has a weird insistince they all wear the same shoes…

I’m just saying, there’s a very real chance if they’re not “called to heaven” that they take the initiative to ringing the doorbell on a mass scale.

Like, I don’t know how far you’ve looked into their rabbit hole, but there’s lots of wriggle room around “suicides don’t go to heaven”. Something like going 150 on the interstate and letting go of the wheel could easily be rationalized as “this was always God’s plan”. Or just some version of Russian roulette, any random chance can be seen as God’s hand.

This isn’t the first time a doomsday prophecy falls thru, it’s gonna go like it always does.

  • A blockade is the only way, that maybe, you can improve your negotiating position for “cheap”

    Negotiating position for…

    What?

Everything trump wants, he already had.

What he wants now is the strait to be open, it’s only closed because they’re attacking Iran. If they stopped attacking Iran and fucked off, why would Iran keep blocking the strait?

No one, especially Iran, want the strait blocked. Iran is blocking it because that’s their leverage to get the war to stop

If trump blocks the fucking strait, what do you think his condition is? You think he’s gonna demand Iran that they stop being attacked? Iran already wants to stop having war crimes committed against them, they can’t want to stop the war crimes anymore.

Where the actual fuck are you getting any of your information on about this conflict?

  • Yep.

If capitalism is calling the shots, then no one plans more than a fiscal quarter ahead of time.

You can’t compete against someone that just ignores all risks, because if nothing goes wrong they put you out of business.

And by the time something goes wrong, they have enough wealth and connections to get bailed out by governments.

Because of that, every society that places capitalism above all else, will eventually implode. One day there just won’t be anything to bail them out with.

It make sense for the oligarchs to keep making bets they can’t lose, but it means everyone else is forced to take bets we cant win.

  • If AIPAC gets a special ban, then different groups with their own least favorite will ask why we aren’t banning that one, and billionaire owned media will say the DNC supports that.

The only logical solution that doesn’t waste a shit ton of time and effort, is to blanket ban all of them at once.

They don’t have infinite time and energy waste on shit. The more individual ones moving, the slower the one that abns everyone moves…

So the dnc released all the information on what was banned to actually help people check if they actually banned pacs and dark money?

The votes that just happened were at the committee level…

After that it goes to all voting members.

Expect a statement after that vote.

The DNC has released nothing about either, because they never do until after the full vote.

Like, I think your confusion is you think the DNC was making any announcements about this stuff, when it was just the billionaire owned media from CNN to Faux News all “independently” releasing the same stories almost verbatim within minutes of each other.

Can you honestly not see how this is a hot job against the DMC because the people who control the media no longer control the DNC?
