I stopped watching when they didn’t enforce the first round of FFP penalties to City and didn’t investigate anyone else. I’d say the fact that Everton took a 10pt deduction and City and Chelsea (and likely United and others) will walk away with a “please don’t do it again but if you do your oil money donations to our executive bonus packages will be appreciated” will do far more lasting damage.

There is a Van Nistelrooy goal from spring of 2003 that isn’t as iconic as all of these but he does a step over move where I cannot understand how his feet move without him falling down. It was the only United game I was at when I was living in the UK and it’s iconic to me.

Points deduction makes it more likely they would be dropped out of the Prem at the end of the season through regular relegation. It seeems that many folks here and elsewhere think Everton will be safe and stay up despite this absurd points deduction.
