Do you not have a reliable ISP in the area?
What problems are you having with the current ISPs?
Then you’d be left will only paper plates and plastic cups…
An intel Nic will last forever and a day. It’s good kit. Stuff you would sleep well knowing it was in your enterprise servers.
Small managed switch can be had for small managed switch prices. If you wanted a nic of comparable quality then you could get one for under $50.
If wired is always fine a moca filter won’t change anything.
You have a wifi issue.
Pick a band, I’d take 5Ghz, and use that. Turn off 2.4.
Xfi or Nighthawk. Pick one for wifi, turn the other off. Having two in close proximity with the same SSID is like having two drunk Karens in the same room shouting at each other. Personally I’d use the xfi and get some remote units from xfinity if you need to extend the range across your home.
Next turn off wifi on all your devices. Turn one on and check. Test. Turn on another. Repeat until everything is on. If you run into problems, turn off wifi on devices one at a time. Turn it off, wait a few minutes and try again. Use a notepad to log which order you turn off wifi on devices.
Update all of your devices to the latest code levels. If you have devices like a PC where you can manually install specific drivers, look up what the recommended level is and use that.
Other than providing power to network equipment and computers, keep Mr Sparky away from any network cabling. Nothing good comes from and electrician doing any data cabling. Nothing. Ever.
