It’s low risk / low cost advertising for manufacturers, and I’m sure dealerships will make up all sorts of lies about how great it is. Reality is, what maintenance? Washer fluid, MAYBE a set of brakes (very unlikely).

It’s just bait for new EV buyers, with no real benefit.

3 years free maintenance…. But, what maintenance? They gonna give you free windshield washer fluid? 😂

Lots of talk of selling data here. Anybody got a good research article on it? Nord claims they don’t touch the data, and don’t keep logs, and have regular 3P audit verification. Not saying I trust what they’re saying, but it would be good to read some legit sources on the subject.
