That’s not negativity that’s self defence

Isn’t it more that if you’re overworked, underpaid and worrying about losing everything you won’t be asking silly questions like…why are rich people rich, where does their money come from and why am I working so hard for them to have a comfortable life

Initially it was a term used to describe supporters of the Soviet union invasion of Hungary in 1956. The Soviets deployed tanks to suppress the country hence tankie. It was then used by libertarian socialists against Marxist Leninists. Now it’s mainly used by liberals to label anyone who’s further to the left than them.
