I have both: deck and switch oled. In terms of game prices they are the same for such games like Sea of Stars and many others.
Switch is great for battery life. Deck is great for new games like Baldurs Gate 3, Cyberpunk.

I have Mac as my home computer but no games on it. Before buying deck I had like 3 games in my steam library which was created about 7 years ago. For the moment I have Nintendo Switch alongside with deck. Basically the main reason for was Baldurs Gate 3
