You’re welcome!

Thanks! I think some buddies came up with it when I was young. It sounds slightly similar to my surname.

This post only says that the Lemmyverse data “is used to suggest search results to people when adding a remote community.” Is this data also included in the communities page?

Another thought about the linked post: Removing inactive communities from the Lemmyverse data is certainly a good thing for stuff like “technology”, “memes”, “news” etc., but if you’re looking for a community about a very niche topic you might even be interested in an inactive community without active alternatives to perhaps “revive” it with your posts.

One important thing about Lemmyverse is that you can search for communities your instance isn’t “aware of” yet. Seeing the “Add remote community” button, I guess this is something that’s not possible with Piefed’s community search?

Those polar bears are about to turn into brown bears.

You could also encode the DDL links. That’s what FMHY does for a list of (encodeded) links hosted on rentry.

It would be even more amazing if the “eyes” were made of (opaque) glass, so when it’s dark outside and bright inside the eyes glow.

You have to verify your age to see the uncensored image.

TIL you can have a single letter username, at least on Piefed.

I’m not sure if originally, but they posted it at least

That’s a funny gag

Shameless self-promotion: !anniversaries@sopuli.xyz

It’s like “On This Day”, “This Day in History”, etc. I’m currently the only poster but I don’t mind, I enjoy regularly looking for interesting anniversaries.

Post anniversaries on any topic you feel like; even personal anniversaries are allowed!

I included the titles in the body of the post. It’s behind a spoiler so you have to click it to expand it.

It’s Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro (Yes, that’s their actual name, the Wikipedia article has a section about it)

Yeah, I got it on vinyl. “Radio” is their most popular song. It’s a short but very good album imo with a mix between fun songs (“Radio”, “10 Bier zuviel” and “Scheisse”, I remember) and deeper and darker songs, e.g. “Allein zuhaus”:

Warum hast du mir das angetan?
Ich war doch viel zu jung
Warum hast du mir das angetan?
Ich konnte nichts dagegen tun

There’s also the “song” “Nichts” at the end… well, I won’t spoil it. It’s a funny idea.

To be even more precise than the other comments: This is only the same deal if you buy an even number of them.

Da musste ich doch erstmal eine Weile nachdenken

According to itch.io, the removal of Mouthwashing is not related to the purge of NSFW-tagged games.

This game hasn’t been indexed since October 2024 since it doesn’t meet our indexing criteria: https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-indexed#why-isnt-my-project-showing-up

The developers are using a “Download” button as a link to Steam. The developer took down any playable files form this page in 2024.

The first photo in which the stone owl looks “friendly” at the roof of our stable

A better translation would be: “The first photo in which the stone owl from the roof of our horse stable has a ‘friendly’ face”

The translator was probably confused by the verb “dreinschauen” which (roughly) means making a certain facial expression.
