just want to remind people that humans have been shaving various areas of their bodies for thousands of years. they did it in ancient Rome. we’ve probably been removing body hair for much longer than that even. it’s not a modern thing it’s just the fashion right now. personally idgaf whether other people remove their body hair or not. this is a pretty poetic counterpoint to people who think Idiocracy is prophetic. nature doesn’t give a fuck about what you think or how you feel, it is what it is. being an ignorant fucking moron meant death for the majority of human history, either for you, or as in this case your children. there’s a large evolutionary pressure for humans to be intelligent and well educated, and the worse things get the more that will be true.

the worst part is I do take care of myself. I’ve taken better care of myself in the past few months than ever before in my life. it doesn’t fucking matter because all I seem to want/need is community, to be part of a group that looks out for each other, and that feels fucking impossible because everyone is drowning under capitalism. no one has the time or energy to give a shit about me, or even give a shit that I give a shit about them. individualism is bullshit used to divide us so we don’t get rid of capitalism. make it our fault by saying we just need to take better care of ourselves, but all we really need is a little help from our community that doesn’t come with a fucking price tag.
