I feel like the bias can also go the other way. People who’ve had a bad experience are more likely to complain on the forums and if it ain’t broke people aren’t posting about it.

Car and Driver does them but obviously no major car media outlet can run many long-term tests in parallel at any one time.
The top quote you posted says “designed from the ground up” and you later say “built from the ground up” and point to a conflict there. That’s where the delta is, built vs designed, right? They don’t claim every part is built bespoke, they claim it’s a custom design which allows for shared components. This is slicing semantics very thinly, though. Pagani uses AMG like Gordon Murray/McLaren used BMW for the F1 so I don’t see it as odd.
I’ve pet my fuzzy headliner before and I’m not afraid to admit it. It’s the first vehicle I’ve ever had with high end materials so I’m going to treat it like I’m a tourist in a fancy hotel room and do that shit.
The suspension magic in the Cayenne is legit. Corners flat, doesn’t wallow, tons of grip, never unsettled. I’m not looking forward to an air suspension repair… but until then I’ll just enjoy the bullet train feeling.
