Could you check the white letters on the SteamOS menus? I can really see some haziness on those on the etched glass. Do you notice too?

It is a stand alone OS dedicated for emulation. It has a steam deck implementation.

I run it of a SD and it works great. I love having my emulation system completely separate from SteamOS

Final Fantasy XIV not only works out of the box if you buy the steam version, it also works at 60fps and is the greatest mmo there is :p
