More than slightly imo. Of course we don’t know how long of a run this was. But for a single Ethernet drop by itself anything over 250-300 to start is price gouging in my book.

That’s insanely overpriced. But I think the first mistake is getting an electrician instead of a low voltage tech.
I went back n fourth between the 2 myself. Took about 2 weeks for me to decide. I ended up with the 8 port only because I figured I wouldn’t be getting more than 8 U6 enterprise AP’s and the cameras are all 1Gbe so I didn’t see the need. At some point I will get a 24port but most likely a professional and not the enterprise.
You could save some money by getting the entripsrise 8 Poe. Unless you plan on using more than 8 Poe devices.
I don’t think it really matters feature wise. From what I’ve seen the only difference is the U6LR covers 500 more sqft than the others.
You don’t really need to go to video mode for that
Tap and hold you’ll then be able to set your exposure. You should get a slider shoe up in the middle of the screen.
I would like to think that the camera bump wouldn’t exist. I don’t think he’d put up with it
My app count is pretty stock. Only 3rd party I have installed is Microsoft RDP for connecting to an xps and that’s about it.
I would say so. It is introducing interference and noise on your line.
