I own a G Cloud and an LCD Steam Deck (getting an OLED though)! From my experience, the Steam Deck has lower latency and better ergonomics, but the screen and its weight make it a little less than ideal when in bed. The OLED’s screen *should* be much better than the G Cloud not just b/c of its color, but b/c of its 90hz refresh rate (G cloud is capped at 60 hz) which will lower latency when using remote play. The OLED also has a better wifi chipset than the G Cloud.
The only thing holding me back from saying you should 100% get an OLED, is its resolution and aspect ratio. The G Cloud is 16:9 (as opposed to the deck’s 16:10) so content doesn’t look stretched and you wont see black bars when streaming. I’ll need to see whether or not the new screen is enough to offset that and / or make the tradeoff worth.
