Avoid Atletico - In CL, they are Newcastle on steroids. It will be like going to an MMA match and not a football game. Their only tactic will be to break Saka’s legs

Brentford played 5 3 2. And their 5 was very narrow ie all 5 players inside the box. They literally gave us 0 space. Saka had 3 markers on him literally.
I’m sort of worried about Jesus. He’s only played more than 30 games a season in the EPL once(1/6). Compare him to Salah, who is older and whose least games played in a season is 34(6/6) . Sadio Mane was right about the same(6/8) , and someone like KDB who is injury prone has 5/8. Harry Kane had (7/9), Sterling(8/9) etc.
I’ve always believed Jesus has the potential to be up there with those players but he needs a consistent run of games over 1 - 2 seasons without injuries. But now I doubt if he will ever get there if he does not manage his injuries. He should not have allowed himself to be on the pitch against Argentina.
Lol. Lol. We have basically 3 big injuries, which is pretty normal. And of the 3, 2(Jesus and Partey) are injury prone and 1 is a freak injury(Timber). The rest of the injuries are pretty short term. The thing with Partey is I think his body is done. And I believe that a big cause of this is that Partey is older than his official age. It’s something thats consistently done by African athletes and is pretty much accepted. I’m an African and in as much as I don’t like it, I understand it since it’s mostly their only way out of poverty.
It’s burning up in yanited. They are stuck with a bunch of non-performing or injury-prone players on massive wages - Martial, Sancho, Rashford, Maguire, Casemiro, Antony, Mason Mount(a bit early for any verdict though) and just binned De Gea for Onana.
This makes me thankful for Arteta - We were ruthless with Auba, Ozil etc and I think this has set us up pretty well.
