He acted like a man child at Arsenal aswell. Managed to turn the narrative on his side that the only issue Arsenal had with him is the Uighur stuff. That was a shit move from our club but he had massive issues here prior. He was a big reason Emery got sacked because Emery hated his attitude and began benching him, but Ozil turned the squad against him instead.
Freddie also openly criticised him and Arteta also became fed up with his attitude in the end and finally cast him out. He sat on a monstrous contract he wasn’t justifying and was a big part of our shit locker room mentality but he always had god tier PR that made him look the victim no matter what.
Everton must be happy as a pig in shit that its this season and not the prior one they got points deducted. The promoted sides are utter wank.

Their depth is shite. Everything is happening due to Son and Maddison, once clubs figure out how to stop that, it’ll be a different story. The league hasn’t had time to adapt yet and their fixture list is p generous to say the least. They don’t have the quality of depth to make easy changes to their game plan and relying on two players is not going to win you the league.
It’s 20/21 all over again when Kane and Son were on fire, people were shitting it then too but the league figured out how to stop it and that was that.
We are coming up to the 4 year anniversary next month of Arteta being appointed coach. It’s absolutely mad to think on everything that’s happened since. Arteta must feel like he has a ironclad bond to us now and vice versa.
I desperately want him to seal his legend status by winning us either the PL/CL. I genuinely can’t think of anyone more deserving currently of being our first post-Emirates legend.
