I am one of the few and proud to be happy with my 1tb LCD deck. I put bazzite on it and installed the SSD myself. I also realize due to my skillset the LCD can outlive me but the OLED will wear out. The pixels shrink like candles each time they are lit. I prefer something I wont wear out. I love everything about the OLED deck, but I have the LCD preference.

For those of you with USB issues(on a dock), update the deck. If it still doesnt work with the new update, then go into bios and change usb settings to USB XHCI mode. You can also reset the usbc port by holding the + and … buttons till it either beeps or shakes. Do not reset the port while docked like I did once.

If the above steps dont work: much different situation. Depends on the adapter’s chipset and contents. Some mount as a disk image that installs the driver for the actual adapter. This is for plug n play in windows. In that scenario you would have to physically alter the adapter which I do not recommend.
