Try using an air hammer with a straight punch on the remains of the anvil. You might be able to get the anvil to push the socket off.

If you don’t have a air hammer, you can try a punch and hammer

Diamond tip mini rotary grinder will work too. You can grind two notches in the anvil and use some needle nose pliers to pull it out
