Gonna get downvoted for this. But never buy apple for their screwed up prices. For the same price you can get a laptop which outperforms this mac in all areas.

Have you not looked into asus, dell, some HP models, or any other laptops? For half the price of this machine you can get laptops which have better performance in all areas.

As for battery life. That depends entirely on what you are doing.

Office programs? Yes ten hours is doable. Gaming? Nope. Netflix? Maybe 5.

I can build a PC for half the price of that laptop that will smoke everything that macbook can do in all areas. Including graphic design.
