First thing I did was turn off

Settings > Photos > View full HDR

That can help with viewing images.

Not seeing any sharpening issues on faces in decent light, and have shot about a billion of my two year old on various iPhones (currently 15 Pro)

On iPhone under

You > Chats

There are two options:

• Move chats to Android
• Transfer chats to iPhone

I would imagine there is something similar on the Android side?

Facebook messenger monetises the data it gets from everything you do in it. WhatsApp doesn’t, so Meta has no interest in investing in it.
