This was my experience buying my SD on release day. It started with an error page, then a message that my account wasn’t old enough to purchase a steam deck (it was 13 years established) and ended with me being kicked out of my account with a cool down period before I could access it again. I was able to sign in that evening but was put out until Q3. 🤬
