I bought this exact card today for my OLED deck. At first, the deck displayed an error when I tried to format it. I put it into my Switch and formatted it there. Then I put it back in my deck and it was able to format it. But the next time I booted the deck it displayed the same error. I rebooted again and it’s working. I don’t think the card is the problem. I found lots of posts going back over a year with people having the same issue. I never had this happen on my LCD deck.
1 TB not an LE with a Samsung panel and no dead pixels.
I bought a SanDisk 1 TB Extreme Plus card and my OLED deck would fail to format it. After reading many posts from over the past year, I formatted the card in my Nintendo Switch and then tried formatting it in the deck. That was successful. However, occasionally when I boot the deck it will tell me to format the card. The solution is to remove the card and reinsert it.
Since the deck recognizes that the card is in the slot, I don’t think it’s a hardware issue. I might try using the 512 GB card from my LCD deck to see if that makes a difference. That card has performed flawlessly in the LCD deck.
