Ich wollte für den Umzug packen, musste dann stattdessen für eine Bekannte drei Steckdosen-Dimmerschalter-Kombis, zwei Lampen, nen normalen Lichtschalter und nen Spiegelschrank tauschen. Schlimmer als für Papa zuhause.
Dafür hab ich ein halbes Kilo selbstgebackene ofenfrische Feigenkekse bekommen, die 🔥 sind.
Kein Bock auf Verantwortung, aber auch kein Bock auf Diskussion bzw. der Böse zu sein. Schiebt damit die ganze mentale Last auf das Partny. Ziemliche Penisbewegung.

But in the end dems only hold the status quo until the next reps move in, so it’s really just a matter of time, anyway. Voting dems feels like it should be helping, but it’s not. It’s a race to the bottom, and the choice is between fast descent and slow descent.
The system is working as intended. The first step to change it is accepting it’s not working for the people, no matter what you vote.
Having said that, if confined to the system, the dems are obviously the sane choice.
Sure, but she’s just a symptom. There’s tons of people that use it the same way. Hell, the whole LLM GF fiasco is a canary and we just keep going.
Even if, at this point the surprise would be an actual change in politics.

Sommerzeit, Zeitzonen und sonstige Zeitverschiebungen seihen dahingestellt.
(Will ich damit etwa sagen, dass nur die Mitternachtsformel um Mitternacht abgefragt werden darf…?)

2·6 days agoSwitched to a less toxic job, moving to cut commute down to a five minute walk so that I have the time and energy to hopefully finally get some exercise in.
Sleep still sucks. Can’t get it to work.

2·7 days agoThat’s all well and good, but Asterix is a satirical comic book making a point about wage slavery, not happy slaves. The author is French, the story in France, and the slaves are Roman.
And I might have imagined the re-enslaving, too. I can’t find it in plot summaries. Maybe it’s in the movie adaptation, but the scene of their “freeing” is pretty clear about its point.
