This is like saying “should I pass up this car because the tires that come stock are garbage”
Which is the case with a lot of cars. Just get what you want and is good for you then change whatever you need to do

Agree but it isn’t a completely new powertrain (cx60 phev elsewhere in the world)
You can only work with a brand so much to stay profitable, especially when they need to break away. They took a stab and will be better in the end once they have things worked out More respect for them than Honda phoning in their prologue and zdx for GM to engineer and build. And they continue to tout it’s their tech and ground up Honda
And if you are talking like this then you should have been knowledgeable enough to go with other brands or Toyota like you mentioned
Stock entry level engine without boost will give you next to nothing, then you’ll have to revise the tune after mods.
Turbo the 2.0 isn’t very popular, so just keep it modest with intake/exhaust/tune. Or save all your money to step up to something with a better platform.
Newer NA engines you can’t squeeze power out like you could in older 4bangers with mods.
Be careful you’ll be downvoted like I was on the last Cx90 post due to same issues 😂
People don’t want to believe the old rule. Even if they had this similar powertrain in smoother model in other countries…still a first year for this and the powertrain is really new
Get a cx9 with remote start
Go to a new dealer…you are warrantied
I’m not old and even in highschool I checked my non TPMS equipped car every time a cold dip with a warm high. Not to mention at least once every two weeks or so.
Then again didn’t have abs, traction control, or anything in my focus hatch. And always got out of snow better than any of my rich friends with awd etc.
The good ol days when people took the time to care about the massive machine that meant life or death everyday. Now you blame the car for not telling you enough
The 1% and kudos to you. Prob got a great deal
Sounds like you may want someone who knows a little more about the car buying experience to be by your side and guide you. Never go in wet behind the ears with a decision that can easily ruin you financially
And never by a rental, unless it is just a cheap get around car for a bit or you are in a bind. For that price stick with dealer cars and have someone help you
Nope , not at all, impossible…happy to be of help
And also…let’s stop this trend of people who are happy wanting to learn car enthusiasts asking about repairs for themselves or a body shop when
CALL YOUR FUCKING INSURANCE!!!
These days of fix it yourself don’t exist unless you have an older car and don’t own money. Wake up count chocolatela, it’s a new day
Overly worried. I mean I get it especially if you work in the field. But come on, if you’re that worried this shouldn’t even be a thing.
You should be driving an older car with no over the air connection, no gps, no smartphone, a tin foil hat.
And if you were that worried, they are listening now and will mess with your cars systems so that when you do disable it you are forced to bring it in. Oh crap I said it, they know
It’s a lease……
You are basing your comparison on the wrong things.
Price and space.
Stop reading into the eco chamber of people complaining about build site. It’s a 1% thing
Yup stay with the same rolling diameter so up your tire size and you down the wheel size.
And you want even more traction? Downsize the width
Aside from maybe the software. Why are you going to a dealership for codes and cosmetic work?
And they cleared the codes by disconnecting the battery? Doesn’t sound like they solved the issue
u/SavageGeese review is great. Ditto
If you can get over styling of the front end, you cannot pick a better handling, luxury, affordable luxury suv
No payments for 90 days is like “here, have a string cheese! It’s fun”
Honestly find a solid older model, lowest mileage possible, and do it. Save money, possibly get dealer covered maintenance and warranty (maybe even a CPO)
And sell off in a few to 5yrs to upgrade. The market is getting better but still not good
