Exactly this. I have been gaming since the days of the Spectrum. Had Commodore 64, Amiga, SNES, N64 and so on. Since getting my deck, my PS5 and Series X are sat gathering dust and I’ve sold my gaming desktop.

I have an enormous back catalogue of games which I’m playing through including games going all the way back to the N64, which I just never got around to playing.

I love the deck, in fact I think it’s the best piece of gaming hardware I have bought since the N64. Valve have done a fantastic job and I hope they continue to improve on the platform and release future models.

I’m just about to play Paper Mario TTYD for the first time. Somehow missed this one in the past

It’s a central application to install and manage all your emulators, configurations and roms. It makes it super easy to setup.

There are some fantastic guides on YouTube for how to setup Emudeck as well and includes how to bake the emulators and roms into your steam library if you want to

I got one an LCD deck off my girlfriend for this Xmas but managed to convince her to let me have it early. I’m glad she did because it was dead on arrival, crashing every 2-10 minutes regardless of game and settings. Currently going through the RMA process now

Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Yakuza Like a Dragon are excellent on the deck. Also if you somehow haven’t played portal 2, it is fantastic on the deck

I would also like to know this, because I see this as a potential burn in scenario if you can’t turn off the screen
