In park I don’t think the front wheels should rotate. Also, you can switch into AWD? I had a CX-7 and I thought it’s full time awd.

It’s most likely fine. If it was on the top of your engine with water pouring down it would be a problem but on the bottom probably alright unless it’s been parked in deep water.

I found the Haynes to be more model specific then Chiltons. They used to actually perform and photograph a repair task. Chiltons had more text and illustrations.

I prefer Haynes to Chilton.
