Usually it’s on the business to ensure the safety protocols are followed. Common sense ain’t common. I’ve never been to an oil change place, so I’m not sure how it goes. But I would think the guy at the counter would go over the safety protocols and the mechanic would make sure the customer adhered to them. Too many boneheads on the street.

Castrol Syntec 0w40 in my v6 4runner. Usually run 5w40 in it., but it’s winter and I figured I’d give the 0w a try. I drive it hard.

Depends on how and where you drive your vehicle. If it’s mostly easy highway driving, 10k is fine. I go off-road a lot and drive with a lead foot. Mine gets it every 5k.
