Thermostat stuck open makes the car run cold, thermostat stuck shut overheats. Off the top of my head, your heater core could be clogged, you could be low on coolant, or some HVAC system issue that I know little about.
That car has a transaxel like most sedans, means the engine is sideways and the transmission also goes sideways to get to drive the front wheels. This means you’ll have parts of the transmission located near the front end. Also that you will likely have a motor mount or two off of the front subframe. Get a flashlight and really look down in there for damage or disturbed paint.
Front end collision I’d also be concerned about radiator damage, possible coolant contamination in transmission fluid
