Foldable catering tables are surprisingly sturdy. But be sure to check the weight limits. I’ve used Ecoflex 00-10 silicone, it’s very soft, most people would probably opt for 00-30. I have a local shop, but I am pretty sure you can find both the silicone and the alginate on Amazon. But one thing, you can’t (safely) make a silicone toy without degassing it first. So you may look into vacuum chambers and pumps as well. There are some cheaper options, but you likely won’t get much under $150.
