Secondly, I think you missed the point of the image. You claim to believe America is bad, but simultaneosly adopt it’s views on geopolitical rivals uncritically. Yes, including the view that anything that portrays the west in a negative light being “Russian propaganda”. Funnily enough, that’s the real ad hominem and is something incredibly common to hear coming out of liberals.

Yeah, if youtube doesn’t get into some kind of public spat with odysee, I think it’s fair to assume that it’ll at least get the same reaction as piped and invidious, where google will make sure to make life difficult with the API or whatever.

Same. I remember giving it a look sometime ago and seeing the sort of stuff that you would’ve only seen on stormfront or something. I’d say peertube’s superiority over odysee and youtube lies in the fact that if there were ever an instance full of nazis, you could just defederate from them. That is of course among other reasons, but I don’t think it can be understated how awful these sites are precisely because there is no real way to filter out all the awful people (again, among other reasons).
